Our clients operate globally, and our experience includes carbon projects in North America, Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Michael Byrd
PARTNER
Michael advises clients on carbon credit and other environmental benefit transactions for nature-based and tech-based projects in the U.S. and globally. He also advises on debt and equity raises and related securities law matters.
Michael previously worked for a global law firm’s London and Frankfurt capital markets practices. He received his law degree from the NYU School of Law.
Michael is qualified to practice law in New York and England and Wales.

Ryan Covington
PARTNER
Ryan advises clients in connection with the financing, development and management of carbon projects globally. He also supports climate tech founders on matters relating to R&D and commercialization of their tech in the U.S. market and abroad.
Ryan previously worked in the London and New York offices of two global law firms as a member of their respective energy and infrastructure teams. He received his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Ryan is qualified to practice law in New York.

Jordan Baber
COUNSEL
Jordan advises clients on carbon reduction and removal projects based domestically and internationally. He also provides general corporate advice to privately held companies with an emphasis on debt and equity financings.
Jordan's previous work experience includes the New York capital markets group and the Boston M&A and private equity group, respectively, of two global law firms. He received his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Jordan is qualified to practice law in Massachusetts and New York.
